Welcome to the home of:
The DFW Flamenco Performing Artists Group
Who we are
DFW Flamenco brings together two connected parts of the local flamenco community: a private, invite-only learning co-op for artists to study and practice, and a public-facing platform for performances, events, and cultural programming.
The co-op operates separately from our public performance and booking activities.
PUBLIC PERFORMANCES AND EVENTS:
The DFW Flamenco Performing Artists
Our public-facing work connects flamenco artists with audiences through live performances, cultural programs, community events, and venue bookings.
Programs may be presented at restaurants, festivals, cultural organizations, community events, and private functions. Performance lineups are assembled according to the needs of each event and artist availability.
Many participating artists also maintain their own independent groups, ensembles, and performance projects. These groups may appear at festivals, restaurants, cultural programs, private events, and other engagements throughout North Texas and beyond.
DFW Flamenco showcases participating artists, independent groups, and upcoming performances, giving audiences and venues a central place to discover flamenco activity across the local community.
PRIVATE COMMNUTY:
The DFW Flamenco Learning Co-op
The co-op is a private, invite-only collaborative learning space where member artists can study, rehearse, experiment, and grow together outside of a traditional classroom or academy setting.
It is intentionally peer-led and does not include instructors or teachers in a teaching capacity. Teachers and instructors are not part of the co-op structure and are not invited to teach within it.
Member artists are welcome and encouraged to continue independent study outside of the co-op with teachers, academies, workshops, and other training programs of their choice. The co-op is intended to complement individual study, not replace it.
